  • While registering as a for-profit business, our focus is to use the profits for giving back. This means we will pay taxes and have to meet similar regulations as other businesses, but it also gives more control over how the business is run.

  • A couple different ways. Outside of attending events and using online mediums, we want to education and share information focused on boating safety and waterway conservation. Additionally, while we will offer “for profit” charter services, we also want to provide no-cost charters to veterans, special needs and disabled individuals and at-risk youth.

An additional goal is to eventually establish a small office and shop (for selling bait, tackle and other supplies). This shop would primarily be run by individuals with special needs, meeting them where they are at to provide honest work with fair and competitive wages.

  • By providing the bait and tackle shop, those with special needs can earn a wage competitive with the market, while being provided with support as needed and an opportunity to feel pride in what they do. Some of the tasks include cleaning, stocking, sales, and marketing. Essentially, every part of the shop.

With the charter service opportunities, those with special needs will be met with various benefits. Some of these benefits include improved core strength, enhanced motor skills, boosted cardiovascular health, spatial awareness, reduced stress, confidence building, sensory input, and increased balance.

  • Beach clean ups, educational information, and boating meet ups are just a few. It really depends on what is happening; however, we do want to grow a base of volunteers to get out and make an impact. Additionally, we also want to  host fundraisers that can be used towards helping fund our community service projects as well as other community groups.

  • Send a message. Like us on Facebook. Share your pictures and videos involving fishing, boating, and safety. Be on the lookout for events we may be attending or hosting as well. For now, social media is probably the best way to show support- but simply liking, following, engaging, and sharing.
