Welcome to the Nordic Puddle Pirate. The goal is to establish as a not-for-profit business (not to be confused with a non-profit organization). Our goal is to share the love of the outdoors with others. To accomplish this, we focus on three core values: Adventure, Community, Conservation.

Adventure- Our primary focus will be fishing, however, collateral sports may be highlighted as well, such as hunting, hiking and snowshoeing, as examples. We will share tips, stories, reviews and more.

Community- Profits from sales, services and donations will be used to provide free fishing trips to vulnerable, sensitive and special populations, such as those with disabilities, veterans, and at-risk youth. These opportunities are fun, educational and therapeutic.

Conservation- To help see continuation of our waterways, participation is key. Some of the ways we will contribute is lake and beach clean ups, promotion of recreational boater safety, and other similar events.

At the end of the day, Nordic Puddle Pirate is here to serve and promote adventure and open the doors for others to enjoy those opportunities. Keep an eye out as we grow and become established in offering fishing charters, boating tours and sales of angling and boating gear.

Mitch is a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and holds a degree in business management from CVTC. He has a background in firefighting, search and rescue, retail management and behavioral health. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, traveling, photography and hanging with his family. His goal is to find ways and opportunities to serve and give back to others, and has always had a desire to be a part of something greater. Mitch hopes to use Nordic Puddle Pirate as a way to inspire others and give them a chance to experience the outdoors in a way that may otherwise be missed.

Follow us on TikTok, Facebook and/or Youtube as we embark on the mission of establishing Nordic Puddle Pirate on an official level. This includes forming as an LLC Not-For-Profit business, go through the process of obtaining our OUPV (Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel) or “6-Pack” Captains license, and partner with sponsors. By opening this journey to others, the hope is that it will give you insight and ideas for chasing your dreams; be it your own ice cream stand or fishing charter business, or simply to get outdoors more. NPP will try and share regular updates on the processes, obstacles and successes so you can save time, stress and money in chasing your dreams.
